Service: Switchboard Upgrade
Problem:
This large house in Palm Beach had been divided into 3 flats and after many years of wiring alterations at the switchboard the owner decided it was time to upgrade it completely.
Solution:
A generator was provided for the tenants working from home and the switchboard was dismantled. A new switchboard consisting of two 600MM X 900MM galvanized units bolted together was chosen to fit in the existing location and new meters were requested from the energy retailers.All circuits were reconnected to their corresponding meters and protected with safety switches, a new set of 100 Amp consumer mains were installed and a matching earthing system put in place. The power was back on by 4pm and all paper work submitted to energy retailers and supply authority.
