Service: Safety Recall
Problem.
Infinity Electrical Cable – Safety Recall. Our clients had two air conditioning units installed using this faulty cabling. This cable needed to be removed and replaced with new cable.
Solution.
Our technicians attended and confirmed that the installed cabling was part of the recalled batch and needed to be removed.
The two individual air conditioning circuits were de energised and the old cabling removed and replaced.
Testing on both newly installed circuits was carried out and found one of the circuit breakers to be faulty. Everest Electrical removed and replaced the faulty breaker at no extra charge to the client.
Once replaced and with our technicians approval, the circuits were energised and our client’s air conditioning was working safely again.
