Service: Timber Pole Replacement
Problem:
This timber pole was on the verge of falling over when we arrived to replace it.
Solution:
The aerial service line was temporarily removed and the pole extracted using our crane truck, the new footing had to be moved forward to avoid the aerial service line crossing the neighboring property, we used our auger to excavate in the compacted clay and set the new pole in place. The footing was back filled with concrete due to the high load on the pole and the aerial service line re attached. The consumer mains were extended and attached to the side of the new pole and re energized. All compliance paper work was submitted and certificate of compliance issue to the customer.
