Service: Private Pole Snapped
Problem.
During a recent storm that hit the Northern Beaches our clients experienced a total loss of power to their home. Once the storm had passed an investigation uncovered a rusty private pole had snapped and caused the power outage.
Solution.
With some accommodating clients willing to reschedule that day, we were able to prioritise this emergency repair and have our Level 2 ASP Team onsite by early morning.
Network provider Ausgrid had already de-energised and made the site safe so we could begin immediately. The damaged pole was removed and replaced with a new private pole. Existing underground mains supply cables were tested and reinstated and a new aerial service from Private Pole A to Private Pole B was required to complete the project.
