Service: Private Pole Replacement, Overgrown Flora
Problem.
With what looked like a tree growing around the existing private pole and aerial supply, our clients were concerned about the structural integrity of the old timber private pole and safety/fire hazard caused by the excessive foliage growth.
Solution.
De energising of the incoming aerial service was required by our Level 2 ASP before an extensive pruning process could begin. A combination of our Elevated Work Platform Truck and ladders from ground level were required to remove all the excess foliage before the pole could be removed safely.
A new galvanised steel private pole was installed along with a new three phase 100A aerial service giving our clients a safe energy solution.
